# Microsoft Connector

## 1. Purpose

Integration with Microsoft services via Microsoft Graph API, enabling notifications and interaction with Microsoft Teams channels.

## 2. Where It Is Used

The Microsoft connector is used for the Clowrk notification system through Microsoft Teams channels. Configuration and usage details will be covered in the specific notifications section.

## 3. Configuration

**Required parameters:**

* **API URL:** Microsoft Graph API endpoint

## 4. Authentication (Temporary Implementation)

**Current method:** User credential authentication

* Username
* Password

**Important restriction:** The provided user must not have multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled, as the current flow does not support second-factor challenges.

⚠️ **Compliance Note:** Microsoft is gradually deprecating authentication methods based on direct user credentials. A migration to the OAuth 2.0 authentication model with Application Registration is planned as a future improvement to ensure long-term compliance and security.
